Christmas Party, December 5, 2010 |
Our annual Christmas gathering at the Dobbin House inn Gettysburg was again a great time. We had a great turnout of members, as usual, as well some guests from other chapters, some first time attendees and some new members. In addition to a great meal, attendees were able to socialize with each other, always an important part of this traditional event. And have no fear; we are already on the calendar for the Dobbin House to celebrate again this year. I want to convey my sincere thanks and appreciation to those officers who "retired" last year: Kitty Mummert as treasurer, and Bea Zastrow as newsletter editor. They were of invaluable assistance to me during their long tenure in these important responsibilities, and helped keep me on track. They were both recognized for their service and have agreed to be available in an advisory capacity. Skip |
